In this interview, Jay Z gives advice to people who want to be “business moguls” like himself. He states that he believes success comes from doing things that are true to you (a way of saying do what you’re passionate about), doing things that are an extension of who you are. Jay also touches base on having standards for yourself, with integrity. Last of all, Jay states people need to do what they believe in, and follow their instincts, he says his meeting with Warren Buffett just reaffirmed him that business is best run based on instincts. Jay explains how he never had any specific manual to follow, and didn’t go to any business school, but relies on gut instinct (intuition).
